Background on NASP

Founded in 1995 by Peter Andrews and Martin Mobeck, North American Safety Products, Inc. initially operated out of a one-bedroom apartment in Chicago. In 1996, we introduced VERSA-GUARD® — the original portable expanding barricade and our flagship product — to the world.
In response to the need for better safety in the manufacturing sector, Mr. Mobeck designed and engineered our Rear-Guard® machine and perimeter guarding product line in April 2000.

By the end of 2002, Mr. Andrews sold his stock shares to Mr. Mobeck. The company re-located for the 3rd time to bigger manufacturing facilities to help fuel the growth. Between 2003 and 2010, the company introduces several new products lines, Restrict-Guard®, our panel guarding systems, developed a switches and controls department and several other products. During that time, we redesigned our Rear-Guard® and Versa-Guard® product lines.

In 2008, Mr. Mobeck proudly handed the reigns of the company over to his daughter, Nicole to run the day to day operations.

In late 2012, James and Nicole Pfeiffer purchased the company and have successfully guided the company and has grown into an industry leading OEM. And, with a surge of youth and enthusiasm, North American Safety Products is continuously poised to take on new challenges in the ever-changing marketplace.

Our unwavering commitment to use only United States sourced materials in our manufacturing processes has ensured that we not only maintain the highest quality standards for all the products we manufacture or represent but what our customers expect for us. We have been doing it this way since 1995 and will continue.
