Detroit has made a comeback as more manufacturers continue to invest in the area. It’s important to build up these cities that struggled during the manufacturing decline from 2000-2008. Detroit was one of the hardest hit but as the U.S. manufacturing sector continues to grow, so do these areas with better paying jobs. We want to lift up Detroit and help put it back on the map of manufacturing.

The excitement was in the air at the inaugural event in Indianapolis in 2019 and now we are going to Detroit, which used to be the manufacturing capitol of the world, to continue the Made in the USA movement. This is a lot more than just a show. We will continually promote the importance of American Made on a national and international level.

  1. When will it visit Detroit?

  2. I’m excited for the future of American Made goods! Way to go!

  3. Let’s bring manufacturing back to this country. We should make education cheaper in this country to increase our literacy rate. We also should have vocational schools to train our youth so they can be part of our skilled laborer pool.

Some people, like me, would like to join the manufacturing industry but will be needing training and exposure. I imagine a cooperative-like setup, more like the Coope-Agri of Costa Rica. I hope you will address this in October of this year.

I would like to be part of a discussion on this. I came from a business-minded people.
