Donald Williams, owner of RipPak is a man who bleeds red, white, and blue. He served in the military in the tradition of his family, so when he decided to invent a product, he knew it had to be Made In America.
While serving in the military as a US Marine, Donald attended a commissioning program at the University of South Florida in Tampa. While there, he finally had the time to dedicate making his thoughts and dreams come true thus creating RipPak.
You see, Donald had experienced several different things that caused him to see the need for such a product. Beginning at the age of nine, living with his brother, his brother would leave the toothpaste cap off and the toothpaste would harden overnight, over time, making it very frustrating to use. As life experiences continued, he began to see a need for RipPak even more.
Being deployed, Donald realized that toothpaste in the traditional form doesn’t travel well. Imagine waking up in the morning to a frozen bottle of toothpaste. Or experiencing a third-world country with a lack of access to clean water, how are they to effectively brush their teeth without wasting a precious resource?
What is RipPak?
RipPak is a no-mess, single-serving teeth cleaning powder that can be used without the need for water. It is lightweight, versatile, easy to use, and best of all Made In America.
RipPak can be used with or without a toothbrush, however, when you have the time, RipPak is at its best when used with a toothbrush. When you are on the go and toothbrush-less, RipPak works by killing the bacteria in your mouth that causes bad breath and gingivitis.
Made with ingredients that are naturally derived, organic, and vegan friendly; RipPak is also versatile enough to withstand all rigors of one’s journey.
How RipPak Came to Be
Donald wanted to create something that was free-flowing, something you would not have to chew to activate. Something that would just simply activate with your saliva.
He found himself going back to his memories of Elementary School where we are taught that mixing an acid and a base causes a foaming reaction, so, he began ordering different ingredients that were Made In America and began the process of creating.
The largest challenge he faced was the taste. The first test of the product was tested by a group of people from the U.S. Military. The feedback received was outstanding and very encouraging, so Donald moved on to test it with civilians. The civilians did not have the same love for the product, all due to taste. Donald went back to the drawing board to improve this. Which he did, and found very positive reviews the second go-round with the civilian group.
